Weekend Events

Lisa and John are flying in Tuesday morning but the first scheduled event is Saturday.  There is no need to be anywhere before.  John and Lisa will be staying in Castleknock from Tuesday night until Saturday morning.

First Pours

Located just down the road from Castleknock Hotel, a chance to get together to start the festivities! Feel free to stop by at any time!  The Denisons and Lyons will head out ~3pm, but please stay as little or as long as you’d like!

Get ready to kick-off the night with the whole group!  The Old Storehouse is a timeless Dublin haunt in the heart of the Temple Bar neighborhood.   We’ll have an Open Bar and light bites so we are advising people to eat dinner beforehand, fill up on fingerfood, or try the fish and chip stalls out on the street!

Shuttles will be provided to and from the event from Castleknock

Attire: We’re just happy you’re with us and we honestly want you to wear anything that you think would look great with a castle backdrop. Formal style, garden party, kilts all welcome.

We hope you make the most of the venue, so feel free to arrive early to explore the Castle, the gardens or any of the 400 acres you desire! We’ll have yard games and light refreshments until the ceremony.

We know you’ll be ready for your first (and many!) Guinnesses at cocktail hour before we’re called to dinner around 5:30pm.

Dinner will last a while!  The Irish take pride in their hospitality and are happiest when their guests settle in with some good food and drink. Wine will be served throughout and the bar will be open for the entire service.

Remember, the Castle is ours for the evening, so take advantage of the Library, the sitting rooms, the billiards room, the hidden nooks and crannies, and the courtyards and mowed lawns. Shuttles will be available to take guests back to Castleknock from 11pm through 2:30am.
